“BELONGING”
In a series of 3 workshops, each lasting 3 hours and accommodating 10 to 15 participants, we will explore the second systemic principle: BELONGING.
Every system aims for completeness, yet our best intentions can sometimes work against this goal.
More often than not, we consume significant amounts of cognitive or emotional energy trying to exclude certain parts that belong to the systems we are part of. The effort is exhausting and, paradoxically, the outcomes are contrary to our intentions. Whatever we try to exclude, whether consciously or unconsciously, comes back stronger, as it feeds with the energy we dedicate to keep it excluded.
The principle of belonging applies to every aspect of a system: people, events, ideas, beliefs, projects, and so on.
It applies not only to external elements but also to the internal parts of ourselves.
In both personal and professional contexts, learning how to include everything that belongs to a system paves the way for a life characterized by less stress and greater fulfillment. It leads to less anger and more enjoyment, less defensiveness and more agency.
This principle is not about moral judgment; rather, it pertains to the nature of systems. It is not about praise or appreciation but about acknowledgment.
The systemic approach offers a fresh perspective on
Feeling Incomplete
Rather than being trapped in a never-ending cycle of problems, it anchors us in the healthy energy of what is natural and meaningful for each of us to achieve, in our personal and professional lives.
